Infosys, a leading IT major, disclosed its Q4 FY24 results along with a significant announcement regarding dividends. The company declared a final dividend of ₹20 per equity share for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, and additionally, a special dividend of ₹8 per share.
In its stock filing, Infosys stated, “Recommended a final dividend of ₹20/- per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2024, and additionally a special dividend of ₹8/- per equity share.” The company, co-founded by Narayana Murthy, reported a net profit of ₹7,969 crore for the March quarter, with a revenue of ₹37,923 crore for Q4 FY24.
Regarding the dividend payment details, the board has proposed a final dividend of ₹20 per equity share and a special dividend of ₹8 per share. The record date for the payment of these dividends is set as May 31, 2024. Eligible shareholders can expect to receive their dividend payments on July 1, 2024.
Furthermore, Infosys has scheduled its 43rd Annual General Meeting for June 26, providing an opportunity for members to engage with the company’s leadership and discuss various matters concerning its operations and future direction.
